Woodlands Inn hosts a “Piedmont during Truffle Season” Wine Tasting and Dinner on Wednesday, February 17

Summerville, SC – Woodlands Inn will host a “Piedmont during Truffle Season” wine dinner and tasting on Wednesday, February 17 at a special price of $74 per person.

Along with Tuscany, Piedmont is perhaps Italy’s most prominent wine region, noted in particular for its production of vintage reds. The most well-known grape varieties from the region include Barolo and Barbaresco, made from the Nebbiolo grape. And, February is the perfect time for truffles.

 

The event, part of the Forbes Five Star, AAA Five Diamond Inn’s monthly “Wines of the World” series, begins at 6:30 p.m. with a 12-wine tasting and a large cheese and charcuterie selection. The four-course dinner begins at 7:30 p.m. seating and a four-course dinner. The $74 cost is exclusive of tax and gratuity. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 843-308-2115.
