SC attorney buys Five Diamond Woodlands Inn

Associated Press: A South Carolina attorney has bought the Woodlands Inn, the only property in the state with the Forbes Five Star and the AAA Five Diamond ratings for accommodations and dining. The Post and Courier of Charleston reported attorney Johnny Linton of Summerville has purchased the inn from Sheila Crump Johnson, co-founder of Black Entertainment Television. Terms of the sale were not released. Johnson's Salamander Hospitality will continue to manage the Summerville property.

Charleston attorney buys Woodlands Inn

Charleston Regional Business Journal: Charleston attorney Johnny Linton has purchased the Woodlands Inn, an upscale hotel and restaurant in Summerville originally built in 1906 as a private mansion. Linton, who lives in Summerville and works as a trial lawyer for the downtown Charleston law firm Duffy & Young, purchased the inn for an undisclosed amount from Virginia businesswoman Sheila Johnson, officials announced Wednesday.
