Innisbrook, a Salamander Golf & Spa Resort, in Florida’s Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg area has created a special Playoff Package that changes in price each time the team wins a WNBA playoff game.

To have a little fun and celebrate National Mulligan Day on October 17 (yes, it really exists), Innisbrook, a Salamander Golf & Spa Resort, in Florida’s Tampa Bay area has launched a poll of five sporting mishaps from the past 12 months most in need of a “do-over.” And, it’s no surprise that Johnson and Favre feature prominently. The resort has also a created a special “Meeting Mulligan” – featuring a variety of two-for-one deals – and designed especially for groups who have had an unsatisfactory experience elsewhere.

Some of the special events taking place over the weekend at the 900-acre resort include a Family Carnival, Lady Liberty’s Late Night Splash, a Fireworks Extravaganza, the Red, White & Blue Golf Cart Parade and a July 4th Barbeque.

The cost for the barbeque is $24.95 for adults and $14.95 for children (ages 4-12), and the menu will include Taxes and gratuities are not included. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 727.942.2000.

Children can enjoy Camp Nessie and its many activities like face painting and sand candle sculpturing, while families may cool off with a dive-in movie at the Loch Ness Monster Pool, replete with a water slide and its own beach. The resort also has five other pools, a miniature golf course, a playground, while its vast, self-contained acreage and nature trails makes bicycling and exploring a safe daily activity.

The cost for this special occasion brunch is $32.95 for adults and $16.95 for children (ages 4-12). Taxes and gratuities are not included. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 727.942.2000.

The 2010 event will be held Friday-Sunday, November 19-21, 2010, and feature two days of professional competition, a pro-am and community outreach programs that may include children’s and/or women’s golf clinics. The Marcia P. Hoffman Institute for Performing Arts at Ruth Eckerd Hall located in Clearwater, FL, will serve as the tournament’s charitable partner.

Registration for the 5K begins at 7:00 am with the race commencing at 9:00 am. Cost of the run/walk is $20 for pre-registrations prior to event day, and $25 to sign up at the event. All 5K participants will receive a tree seedling to take home and plant in honor of Earth Day.
