Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club Announces First Annual Haunted Hollow Halloween Event for Area FamiliesResort hosts two-day event October 30-31 to raise money for area schools while offering a fun and safe way to enjoy the holiday
INNISBROOK, FL (October 2009) – Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club invites area families to enjoy its new Halloween event – The First Annual Haunted Hollow. This new experience, which helps raise money for area schools, will take place at the resort’s popular Loch Ness Monster Pool complex from 6-10 p.m. on the evenings of Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31.
Innisbrook is transforming its pool area, which features two waterslides, sandy beach areas and a cascading waterfall, into a “spooktacular” Halloween setting. The event includes the Haunted Hollow Trail with eight scenes inhabited by creepy creatures and sounds; poolside “Dive-In Movies” featuring some of the creepy classics; the Haunted Waterslides for cooling off and sliding fun; “Boo”tiful Halloween Crafts and Activities; Glow in the Dark Night Golf (no skills or clubs required) and Costume Contests for kids 12 and under.
Family Passes for either October 30 or 31 can be purchased for $30 by calling Innisbrook at 727-942-2000. Family passes includes up to four people and applicable taxes. Children four and under are admitted free, while additional guest tickets can be purchased for $8 each. Advance ticket purchase is required.
Additional activities include Laser Tag, Eat-Drink-and Be Scary Food and Drink Specials, while attendees can get their picture taken with a Hollow Trail Werewolf.
Schools can earn money to support their educational efforts by sending the event information home to their families via students or by e-mail. Innisbrook will write each participating school a check that includes a rebate of $5 per family pass purchased from each school as a way to show support for Tampa Bay families and their educational needs. Additionally, schools that have over 25 families purchase tickets will also receive a foursome of golf on Innisbrook’s championship courses valued at $750 to use for their next silent auction or fundraising event. This special event is open to the public and you do not have to purchase an overnight stay at the resort to enjoy the fun. Special room discounts are being offered for those families interested in staying overnight in a spacious suite with complete kitchen and living area.
