World Golf: The 2010 event will be held Friday-Sunday, November 19-21, 2010, and feature two days of professional competition, a pro-am and community outreach programs that may include children's and/or women's golf clinics.

Golf Business: The management of Innisbrook has long adhered to a policy of treating golf guests like members of a private club. A key aspect of that experience is removing any concerns visitors may have about storing and transporting their clubs while on property. At check in, a staff member takes the guest’s bag, tags it and stores it in the main clubhouse until needed for practice or a tee time. The clubs, which are cleaned between rounds, are then taken to the appropriate course at the appropriate time.

Transitions Championship: Jim Furyk survived a shaky 72nd hole, his final hole of the week in The Snake Pit, to win the 2010 Transitions Championship by one stroke over K.J. Choi on Sunday.

Veteran Jim Furyk, who has remained in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking despite not winning a PGA TOUR® event since 2007, shot a 4-under-par 67 on Saturday to break out of a bunched pack and take a three-shot lead into the final round of the Transitions Championship.

Padraig Harrington fired a 6 under par 65 in the morning and his total score of 8 under 134 gave him a one-shot over five other veteran golfers on a star-filled midway leaderboard in the 2010 Transitions Championship.

Garrett Willis, a sponsor exemption from Dade City who played Thursday wearing a USF cap, is the two-shot first round leader of the Transitions Championship, Tampa Bay’s PGA TOUR event on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook.
