St. Petersburg Times: A statue of a copperhead snake on top of a tree stump by the tee will greet golfers and spectators. A caption on the statue says, "The Snake Pit." The hole has been renamed "The Moccasin," No. 17 is now "The Rattler" and No. 18 is "The Copperhead."

PGA stars commit to Transitions Championship at Innisbrook

Tampa Tribune: Sergio Garcia, Stewart Cink, Justin Leonard, Steve Stricker, Jim Furyk and Kenny Perry, along with past champions Retief Goosen (2009) and Sean O'Hair (2008), have already committed to play in the PGA Tour event, which begins on Thursday, Mar. 18.
