“Reflections of Woodlands Inn” to open December 1
Concept created by Owner Pam Linton and Wellyn Moore
Summerville, SC – Woodlands Inn is opening a new gift and lifestyle shop called “Reflections of Woodlands Inn.” The brainchild of Owner Pam Linton and fellow Summerville resident Wellyn Moore, the shop will officially open on December 1 as part Woodlands’ grand tree lighting ceremony and gingerbread house contest.
Reflections will occupy the space currently used by the hotel’s concierge staff, which will move into the reception area to allow for more guest interaction. The shop, open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., will include Woodlands logoed shirts, caps, fleeces, and sweaters, in addition to Lowcountry-inspired art, jewelry, books, stationary, Sweet grass baskets – even dog treats as Woodlands is a pet-friendly establishment.
“Reflections will offer a variety of items conducive to a gracious southern lifestyle,” said Pam Linton. “Wellyn and I are looking forward to helping our guests and community with holiday shopping ideas, as well as expanding this spring to include gourmet selections from the Woodlands culinary team.”
Some of the product lines the shop will carry include:
- Spartina 449 – unique handbags and accessories crafted from genuine leather and linen, and inspired by the natural beauty of Daufuskie Island, SC
- Michael Michaud Table Art – a variety of home décor items from the famed artist
- Wild Olive Company – Renaissance inspired ceramic art of Tuscany, Italy
- Kashwere – soft and luxurious blankets and throws
The Linton family bought Woodlands Inn in September from Virginia-based Entrepreneur Sheila C. Johnson, whose Salamander Hospitality company continues to manage the Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond property.
