Summerville, SC – Woodlands Inn, one of the country’s most acclaimed hotels, is offering a specially discounted $94.12 per person nightly rate, based on double occupancy, in honor of the score it received from readers of Travel + Leisure.
 
With a rating of 94.12 out of 100, readers rated Woodlands as the fourth finest lodging – including all resorts, hotels and inns – in the United States and Canada. The results appeared in the magazine’s 15th-annual survey of the absolute best hotels in the world.
 
The special offer is for a junior suite, must be booked by September 1, 2010, and is valid for travel until December 30, 2010. It is subject to availability and does not apply to previously confirmed bookings.
 
The 18-room property, which is owned by Sheila C. Johnson and managed by Salamander Hospitality, also placed second in the North American inns category and tied for 24th of all lodgings in the world.
