Summerville, SCWoodlands Inn, already one of the country’s most acclaimed hotels, has another accolade – that of “World’s Best Hotel Value.”
 
The March issue of Travel + Leisure bestowed the ranking upon the property, which in turn is offering a specially discounted $91.77 per person nightly rate, based on double occupancy, based on the score it received from the magazine’s readers.
 
The special offer must be booked by May 30,  2011, and is valid for travel until July 30, 2011. It is subject to availability and does not apply to previously confirmed bookings.
 
The 18-room property, owned by the Linton family and managed by Salamander Hospitality, was built in 1906 and is located just a short drive from Charleston. Recently refurbished, and refocused to offer a more relaxing experience, it is one of only six properties in the United States to hold the Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond awards for both lodging and dining.
