Woodlands Inn Joins Preferred Hotel Group

Salamander Hospitality property gains admission into the prestigious Preferred Hotels & Resorts and Historic Hotels of America programs

                                                     

SUMMERVILLE, SC, April 20, 2009 – Woodlands Inn has been accepted as a member of the prestigious Preferred Hotel Group and its brands: Preferred Hotels & Resorts and Historic Hotels of America.

Woodlands Management Company Salamander Hospitality, founded by noted entrepreneur and philanthropist Sheila C. Johnson, recently refurbished the property. The 19-room inn is one of only four properties in North America to hold the Mobil Five Star and AAA Five Diamond ratings for both its accommodations and dining room.
