Woodlands Inn hosts first Farm-to-Table Dinner on April 14

Summerville, SCWoodlands Inn hosts its first outdoor Farm-to-Table dinner on Wednesday, April 14 at a special price of $55 per person, as part of its efforts to provide a more relaxing community dining experience.
 
The three-course dinner event, held this month in conjunction with Keegan-Filion Farm in Walterboro, begins at 6:30 p.m. in Woodlands’ herb garden. It features passed hors d’oeuvres, Signature Cocktails and a band. Diners then retreat to the Inn’s south lawn under the Grand Oaks, where an interactive kitchen and community tables await. The farmer introduces each course and explains the “roots” of the dish and the significance. Local and regional wines will be paired with each course. After dessert is served, the band will continue playing for dancing. The $55 cost is exclusive of tax and gratuity.
