Always observed on the fourth Sunday of October, Mother-in-Law Day began in 2002 and celebrates the role that mothers-in-law play, despite being the target for many comedians. To honor these women, Woodlands Inn, a Salamander Hospitality hotel, has developed a special package for the night of October 24 and day of October 25. The package at the Mobil Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond-rated property begins at $399, and is a perfect gift for mom-in-law to enjoy with a guest.
