Salamander Resort & Spa Celebrates Summer with Twilight Tastings

Celebrating Virginia beverage makers with exciting libations and culinary event, July 22

MIDDLEBURG, VA – Back by popular demand, Salamander Resort & Spa will host the second annual Twilight Tastings at the resort’s Equestrian Center from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017. Tickets can be purchased for $85 for all-you-can-enjoy beverage tastings and food, and $45 for all-you-can-enjoy food. The anticipated Twilight Tastings celebration will showcase a number of local Virginia beverage makers, indulgent culinary offerings and will feature live music provided by the “Songs from Nashville” tour.

The highly-awaited food and beverage festival will host more than 12 of Virginia’s most recognized wineries, breweries and distilleries at Salamander Resort & Spa’s beautiful Equestrian Center – the resort’s 14,000-square-foot stable complete with 22 stalls, nine stunning paddocks and a spectacular outdoor riding arena. Vineyards such as the Greenhill Winery & Vineyards and Stone Tower Winery, and breweries including the Old Bust Head Brewing Company and Port City Brewing Company, are just some of the many participating vendors attendees will be able to get a taste of.

To complement the array of beverage offerings, Salamander’s culinary team, lead by Executive Chef Ryan Arensdorf, will be presenting a selection of favorite delicacies including BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Country-Style Mac & Cheese and Key Lime Mousse Verrines.

Along with providing guests with superior food and refreshing libations in a beautiful and natural setting, Twilight Tastings will feature live music performances from artists on the “Songs from Nashville” tour.  The tour includes four featured performers from the Nashville songwriter community – each with their own unique southern style. Preforming as part of the “Songs from Nashville” tour is Marc-Alan Barnette who has opened for artists such as Charlie Daniels and Garth Brooks, David Mininberg, who holds a dedicated fan base throughout Virginia and West Virginia; Eric Haines, a featured artist of Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Café; and John Carroll, who has been a finalist in a number of national songwriting competitions.
