MIDDLEBURG, VA Salamander Hotels & Resorts is giving the gift of music and free nights through its new Summer Nights Sale, which is available across its collection of luxury resorts and hotels in Virginia, Florida and Louisiana.

To paraphrase John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, allow us “tell you more...”

On April 5, the luxury hotel company founded by Sheila Johnson is launching a pre-summer sale, which includes a complimentary night as part of either a three- or four-night stay. Guests will also receive a $15 iTunes credit upon check-in to help curate their own summer playlists. The sale ends on April 21 and is valid for stays from May 1 through September 30, 2017.

Johnson, a former music teacher and concert violinist who also co-founded Black Entertainment Television, has translated her love of music into her hospitality company by developing unique live concert venues. Just last week, Toby Keith played to a crowd of over 10,000 on the driving range at her Innisbrook Resort in Tampa Bay.

As part of the promotion, Salamander has even created its own Summer Playlist which relates classic summer tracks to each of its destinations. Drawn from Billboard’s Top 30 Summer Songs, the playlist is available on Salamander’s website (and below).

Salamander’s growing portfolio includes the luxurious Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, VA, and three renowned golf resorts in Florida: Innisbrook in Tampa Bay, Reunion in Orlando and Hammock Beach in Palm Coast. A fourth grand Florida resort, The Henderson in Destin, recently opened at the end last year, while in 2017, the company will open two luxury urban hotels: NOPSI Hotel New Orleans and Hotel Bennett in Charleston, SC.

The Summer Nights sale can be booked online from at http://www.salamanderhotels.com/summernights. Some restrictions and blackout dates apply.

Salamander is also asking guests to share their favorite summer songs on social media using #SalamanderSummer.

The Salamander Summer Playlist

Salamander Resort & Spa, Middleburg, VA – Virginia’s long summer days and nights allows Salamander’s guests plenty of time to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities on its 340 acres, including horseback and bike riding, ziplining, falconry, and resort caching. Spa guests can even relax at a private outdoor courtyard and pool.

  • Summer Nights by John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John: “Summer sun, something’s begun, but oh oh the summer nights.”

Hammock Beach Resort, Palm Coast, FL – Located along two miles of beautiful beach, guests at this recently renovated resort can enjoy endless cool coastal breezes while relaxing in swaying hammocks, cooling off at the waterpark or enjoying low-key activities like putt putt.

  • Summer Breeze by Seals & Croft: “Summer Breeze makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine of my mind.”

Reunion Resort, Orlando, FL – When school is out, families like to head to the theme park capital of the world. Reunion is perfectly located to offer easy access rides and characters, but also offers 11 pools on property and a five-acre waterpark in which to kick back after a day out.

Innisbrook Resort, Tampa Bay, FL – In 1970, Mungo Jerry released one of the most famous summer songs in history, and one of America’s most storied golf resorts opened its doors. Today, Innisbrook is a year-round destination for both golfer and families, with a well-stocked fishing lake on property and one of America’s best beaches just a short drive outside the gates.

  • In the Summertime by Mungo Jerry: “When the weather’s fine, we go fishin’ or go swimmin’ in the sea.”

NOPSI Hotel, New Orleans – Centrally located in one of the America’s finest musical cities, Salamander’s first urban hotel even features an outdoor courtyard built on the site of a former music store. At night, relax with cocktail overlooking the Crescent City from the hotel’s rooftop bar and pool.
