Salamander Hotels & Resorts Appoints Matt Haught as Area Director of Revenue Management
MIDDLEBURG, VA – Salamander Hotels & Resorts, the luxury hotel management company founded by Sheila C. Johnson, has appointed Matt Haught as Area Director of Revenue Management.
A seasoned hospitality revenue professional, Haught joins Salamander’s team from Destination Hotels & Resorts, where he was Area Director of Revenue Management. Previously, Haught spent five years at Salamander, during which time he was instrumental in the successful opening of the luxurious Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, VA.
Haught will manage strategic revenue strategy, e-commerce and distribution initiatives for two properties in Salamander’s growing portfolio: Salamander Resort & Spa and the new Henderson Beach Resort in Destin, scheduled to open later this year.
Salamander’s portfolio also includes three renowned golf resorts in Florida: Innisbrook in Tampa Bay, Reunion in Orlando and Hammock Beach in Palm Coast. There are several new hotel and resort projects in the pipeline which will be announced soon.

Haught has also directed revenue and reservation operations at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa in California, and at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort & Spa, also in California. He began his career at the Four Seasons, Washington, D.C.
