Hammock Beach Resort
Palm Coast, Fla. – Hammock Beach Resort, a Salamander Golf & Spa Resort, has been named the top Florida resort in the Continental U.S. on Travel + Leisure’s 2014 “World’s Best Awards” list. The AAA Four Diamond-rated beachfront property in Palm Coast ranks number 33 nationwide and is the highest ranking Florida resort in its category.
“On behalf of Hammock Beach Resort, I’d like to thank everyone who continues to vote for us in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards,” said Tim Digby, general manager of Hammock Beach Resort. “This ranking is not only an honor to our resort, but it’s an endorsement for our staff who work tirelessly to ensure that every guest have an incredible experience.”
Although this is the property’s debut in the category of Top Resorts in the Continental U.S., Hammock Beach has been named in 2012 and 2013 among the top 50 U.S. Family Hotels on Travel + Leisure’s ‘World’s Best Awards’ lists.
Located along two miles of beautiful beach, the oceanfront luxury family and golf resort features spacious villa accommodations, a full-service spa, a tennis facility along the Intracoastal Waterway, a multilevel water pavilion, multiple pools, thousands of square feet of meeting space, and a 117-foot event yacht that hosts brunch, dinner and cocktail cruises.
Hammock Beach is also home to two award-winning golf courses: The Ocean Course, a Jack Nicklaus signature design and the Conservatory Course, a Tom Watson signature design. The Ocean Course features six holes that play right along the Atlantic Ocean, more than any other golf course in Florida, while the recently-renovated links-style Conservatory Course is the longest course layout in the Sunshine State.
Hammock Beach Resort is part of the Grand Golf Resorts of Florida. The golf resort collection, managed by Salamander Hotels & Resorts, also features Innisbrook Resort in Tampa Bay and Reunion Resort in Orlando.
