Summerville, SC – The Dining Room at Woodlands Inn, South Carolina’s only Mobil Five Star and AAA Five Star restaurant, will host a “Passport to South America” wine dinner and tasting on Tuesday, April 21.
The wine producing nations of South America are making great strides in the quality of their product. The wines of Chile are the most predominant on the foreign market. However, Chile's larger neighbor, Argentina, is increasing quality and consequently is also making an impact. The wines of Chile and Argentina continue to gain popularity and Americans are beginning to see some great values on premium wines from the area.
The event, part of the resort’s monthly “Wines of the World” series, begins at 6:30 p.m. with a 12-wine tasting and a large cheese and charcuterie selection. The four-course dinner begins at 7:30 p.m. seating and a four-course dinner. The cost to attend is $88 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.
