INNISBROOK, FL, June, 2009 – Mark Marker has joined Innisbrook Resort and Golf Clubas the property’s new director of sales.

With over 30 years of experience in sales and conferenceservices, Marker joins Innisbrook from his former position as vice president ofsales at Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel, FL, where he worked for the past22 years. Marker also spent 15 years at Doral Country Club in Miami as director of sales and conferenceservices.

“Ireally enjoyed my time at Saddlebrook, but after learning of Innisbrook’srecent renovations and exciting plans for the future, the opportunity to workhere was too great to resist.” said Marker, who lives in the area with hiswife, Karen. “Innisbrook is poised to become one of America’s great resorts again.”

Marker will oversee all sales-related functions for theresort’s meetings and convention business, as well as catering and golf groupsales. As the resort has just completed a $26 million renovation project,Marker will also be responsible for the introduction of the “new” Innisbrook tothe corporate, executive, association and incentive markets. He belongs tonumerous professional organizations including HSMAI, MPI, HCEA, PCMA, SITE andRCMA.
