Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club Opens New Restaurants and Spa

Due to high demand, Packard’s Steakhouse, Market Salamander Grillé & Bar and Indaba Spa opening to public by reservation beginning May 1
INNISBROOK, FL – Due to the popularity of its new restaurants and spa during the recent Super Bowl and Transitions Championship weeks, Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club has announced that Packard’s Steakhouse, Market Salamander Grillé & Bar and Indaba Spa will open to the public via reservation starting May 1.
The resort’s two new restaurants and spa are part of an all-encompassing $26 million renovation that has taken place under the property’s management company Salamander Hospitality, and its owner, Sheila C. Johnson. Advance reservations will be required for all dining and spa services, and can be arranged from May 1 onward by calling (727) 942-2000. Innisbrook’s other amenities, including Turnberry Pub at the Island Clubhouse, will remain accessible only to members and resort guests.
Packard’s Steakhouse, named after the designer of Innisbrook’s four golf courses, E. Lawrence Packard, is located in the clubhouse of the resort’s famed Copperhead Course. It serves only the finest certified Angus Beef, as well as a signature martini and wine list. The newly built Market Salamander Grillé & Bar at the Osprey Clubhouse offers a varied menu, with an emphasis on incorporating fresh produce purchased daily from local farmers. The restaurant and bar opens onto a large patio with fire pit and overlooks two of the resort’s four championship golf courses. Dining is available outside and in the open-style bar, which features with several large-screen televisions and live entertainment. Both venues, which are overseen by Innisbrook’s Executive Chef Andre David Halston, are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The resort’s Indaba Spa, which means “gathering place” in Zulu, has 12 treatment rooms with private outdoor terraces, including a couples treatment room with fireplace and private shower. The 20,000-square-foot facility includes a new fitness center, an outdoor courtyard and meditation labyrinth, separate men’s and ladies steam rooms and lounges, whirlpool, full-service hair and nail salon with professional make-up consultation, and a full line of spa services including personalized massage treatments, scrubs, and wraps. Indaba also offers a retail shop with an array of gift items, and a variety of packages including those for the golfer, couples, mothers-to-be and girlfriend escapes.

Every area of the resort was touched during Innisbrook’s recently completed renovation project, including all 65,000 square feet of conference space that is used for special events, weddings and family gatherings and corporate meetings. Each of the three golf clubhouses was remodeled, and at the Osprey Clubhouse there is also a new centralized guest registration area. The resort’s TennisCenter, which features 11 clay courts, also received a new look, as did each of Innisbrook’s six swimming pools.
