Summerville's prestigious property Woodlands Inn on Wednesday opens a new gift shop.
Called Reflections of Woodlands Inn, the store makes its debut as part of the hotel's Christmas tree lighting ceremony and gingerbread house contest. The brainchild of owner Pam Linton and Summerville resident Wellyn Moore, the shop takes over space previously used by concierge staff.
Its offerings including Woodlands apparel, plus Lowcountry-inspired art, jewelry, books, stationery and sweetgrass baskets.
The Linton family bought Woodlands in September from Sheila Crump Johnson. Johnson's Salamander Hospitality continues to manage the state's only Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond property.
