Transitions Championship Update - March 12
Popular golfers Fred Funk, Corey Pavin and J.B. Holmes were the final three commitments on Friday as the Transitions Championship added to the strongest field in tournament history.
The official commitment deadline has passed, but there still is the possibility of further adjustment by players who finish in the top 10 in the rain-delayed Puerto Rico Open knocking out members of the QSchool/Nationwide category. There also will be the addition of four golfers from the open qualifying tournament to be held Monday at Fox Hollow Golf Club. That tournament is conducted by the North Florida chapter of the PGA of America.
